KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Four teams from the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) were recognized in the latest NAIA Women's Flag Football Poll, the national office announced Thursday.
Ottawa University dropped one spot to No. 2, retaining one of seven first-place votes. Kansas Wesleyan University moved up two spots to No. 4, while Baker University dropped four spots and now is in a tie for the No. 8 spot. Finally, Midland University remained in the "Receiving Votes" category of the poll, which they occupied in the preseason edition of the poll.
The next NAIA Women's Flag Football Poll is scheduled to be released Thursday, April 23.
NOTE: The NAIA preseason poll was voted on by a panel of coaches representing each conference in NAIA Women's Flag Football. The two regular-season releases are a poll of the NAIA Women's Flag Football National Selection Committee, a panel of administrators from NAIA campuses and conferences participating in NAIA Women's Flag Football.
