KANSAS — Laken Matthews and Victoria Hofmann, both of Friends University, have earned the KCAC Men's and Women's Golfer of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two golfers were selected for their performances from March 23-29 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by

In a highly competitive field that featured 10 NAIA Top 25 teams and two more teams receiving votes, Matthews finished tied for 11th individually by shooting one under par in the third round to surge 10 spots on the leaderboard. Matthews finished with a score of 75-74-71-220 for the Falcons. This marks the second time in the 2025-26 golf season that Matthews has been named the KCAC Men's Golfer of the Week.

Hofmann shot a +19 and held off Kansas Wesleyan's Chaney Littell to win the individual title at the Friends Women's Spring Invite this week. Hofmann shot a 78-83-161 across the two rounds for the Falcons. This is the third time in the 2025-26 season that Hofmann has earned the KCAC Women's Golfer of the Week honor.
