Howell has continued to have huge meets this year. USM finished first overall at the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic hosted by Doane University, and Kenneth led the way as the top KCAC finisher on the men's side.

Tyrell added on to her stellar senior season, finishing second overall out of 275 runners at the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic. The USM women finished second overall, finishing behind only No. 9 College of Idaho. Tyrrell was the top KCAC finisher in at the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic. This marks the third time overall this season that Tyrell has been named the KCAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
