ELKHART, Ind. – Three more KCAC Swimming and Diving Championships Meet Records were broken on Saturday, the final night of the Championships at the Aquatics Center at Elkhart Health and Aquatics. Olivet Nazarene University broke all three of the evening’s records on its way to both the Women’s and Men’s Championships.
The two individual records of the night were broken by Tiger female swimmers.
Julieta Vega broke the first record of the evening, her third individual record of the meet, in the 200 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:16.76, which beat the 2021 record of 2:19.14 that was held by Olivet Nazarene’s Megan Schroeder.
The second individual record was set by Kayla Parry, her second individual record of the meet, in the 200 Yard Butterfly. Parry’s time of 2:05.64 beat the 2022 record of 2:06.22 set by Olivet Nazarene’s Ashley Parry.
Olivet Nazarene set the lone men’s record on the night in the final swim of the Championships. The team of Jack Fries, Porter Hoffman, Mason Beall, and Timothy Braun set the record in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 3:05.40, beating the time of 3:05.76 set in 2022 by Morningside University.
