WICHITA, Kan. — Thatcher McClure of Tabor College and Thurbil Bile of Kansas Wesleyan University have earned the KCAC Men's Basketball Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from January 8-14 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.
Offensive Player of the Week
Thatcher McClure - Tabor College
6-7 | So. | F | McKinney, Texas
McClure averaged 25 points per game and 8 rebounds per game on 21-32 (66%) from the field this week. He had 21 points and 9 rebounds in a big overtime win versus McPherson. He followed that up with 29 points on 13-17 shooting on the road Saturday.

Defensive Player of the Week
Thubil Bile - Kansas Wesleyan University

Bile was a defensive presence for the Coyotes in two wins this week. He was a key player in limiting the chances by both teams in the post. He made his presence felt defensively in different ways in each game. Against York, he had four steals in the game and one block. Against Avila, where the Eagles tried to score in the post more, he had five blocks and a steal as KWU came away with the win. This marks the second time this season Bile has been named the KCAC Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
