2023 KCAC Football Bissell Division Preseason Team Announced

WICHITA, Kan. — The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) is proud to announce the 2023 KCAC Football Bissell Division Preseason Team, as voted on by coaches within the Bissell Division. The group consists of 10 seniors, 16 juniors, six sophomores, and one freshman.

Kansas Wesleyan University leads the Bissell Division with nine honorees on the preseason team. Sterling College and the University of Saint Mary each have six selections, while Ottawa University has five. Rounding out the preseason team are Tabor College with four honorees and Avila University with three honorees.

Highlighting the preseason team offense are Eli Williams of Avila University and Nicholas Allsman of Kansas Wesleyan University. Both Williams and Allsman were first team All-KCAC honorees. Williams was also the 2022 KCAC Football Offensive Player of the Year, and a selection on the AFCA (American Football Coaches' Association) NAIA Football Coaches' All-America honorable mention team. 

Highlighting the preseason team defense are Terrell Valentine of Avila University and Kourtney Craig of Tabor College. Valentine was a first team All-KCAC Selection a year ago, while Craig was named to the All-KCAC second team. 

Highlighting the preseason team special teams unit are Mason Cobb and Luis Franco, both of Sterling. Both Warriors were named to the All-KCAC honorable mention team in 2022.
